KEYNOTE Speaker:
Lucy Pana
Executive Director, The Alberta Library, 1997 to date.
Prior to her current position, Lucy held various positions with the Government of Alberta including: Manager, Library Services, Arts, Recreation and Libraries Branch, Alberta Community Development; Branch Director, Library Services Branch, Alberta Culture and Multiculturalism; Manager of Bibliographic Services, Library Services Branch, Alberta Culture and Multiculturalism; and Departmental Librarian for Alberta Culture and Multiculturalism.
She is a Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Alberta School of Library and Information Studies. Lucy holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Library Science from the University of Alberta.

Loren Fantin
Loren Fantin is the Project Manager for OurOntario.ca, the cultural heritage component of Knowledge Ontario. She has spent the last seven years developing and managing ARCHEION, Ontario's archival information network. Before working with the Archives Association of Ontario, Loren worked in a variety of archives and libraries.
Loren is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Masters in Library and Information Science, and recently returned to the Faculty as an Adjunct Professor, teaching the course "Designing Electronic Descriptive Tools".
